The Black Princesses of Ghana have advanced to the semifinals of the women’s football event at the ongoing African Games after defeating Tanzania.

Despite conceding an early goal from Aisha Juma Mnunka of Simba FC, Ghana rallied to secure a 2-1 victory at the Cape Coast Stadium. Tracy Twum equalized just before halftime, capitalizing on Comfort Yeboah’s precise cross.

In the second half, Ghana seized control, culminating in Mukarama Abdulai’s goal to secure the win. They will now face Uganda in their final group match on March 15th.
